King Charles III Resumes Public Duties After Cancer Treatment

King Charles III will resume his public duties following the successful outcome of his cancer treatment.

King Charles has been receiving cancer treatment since his diagnosis at the beginning of February, according to the source.

The king still has cancer, NAN reports, despite the good news that he is responding well to the treatment.

Even while carrying out his official responsibilities, he will nevertheless receive treatment for the unidentified type of cancer.

On Tuesday (today), Charles and Queen Consort Camilla are expected to meet with patients and medical professionals at a cancer treatment facility.

The purpose of the event is to highlight cutting edge research being conducted at the hospital with support from Cancer Research UK and to increase public awareness of the value of early diagnosis.

King Charles was diagnosed with cancer in January after spending three nights in the hospital for a treatment to treat an enlarged prostate.

Following the announcement of his diagnosis on February 6, he canceled all public appearances but carried out his official duties as head of state behind closed doors, hosting Privy Council sessions and audiences.
