A Nigerian woman living in the UK has shared her thoughts on why marriages in other nations typically succeed more than those in Nigeria.
The woman claims that there is little likelihood of a Nigerian marriage, which was already unstable, succeeding in the UK.
She disclosed that the system in place there is made in such way that partners who are in agreement with one another flow together.
She states that the legislation in that place requires the couple to own property jointly rather than only under the man’s name.
The woman mentioned how couples help one another out due to their hectic work schedules, but this is not possible in Nigeria.
